The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mary Elizabeth Kitchen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Sandra Lammens

I enjoyed Aunt Betty's company very much. She was loving , smart, enjoyed being the "sort of gopher" for her children . (I remember her saying this as a sort of joke when a number of years back I asked her about her busy life as Blaine and Mary were involved in A Buck or Two) Betty certainly can be viewed as a lovingly dedicated mother and grandmother. Her energy never seemed to cease and her enthusiasm was much appreciated for her research on the family history. This is meaningful to me even though as of this moment, I have not put much time into the whole endeavour; still at some point I will definitely plunge into this subject. Betty cared about keeping the family connection going and I really appreciated her love. love, Sandra
