Helen May Shea (née Hill) – Entered into rest on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Ross Memorial Hospital in her 87th year. Helen was the beloved wife of the late Emery Thomas Shea (1998) and the loving mother of Mechelle Larkin (Leo), Adelle Laing (the late Ed), the late Aaron Shea, Colleen Mitchell (Kelly), and predeceased by infant daughter Darcelle. Cherished grandmother of Nichole (Jay) Jones, Anita Larkin (Dave Lloyd), Shea Laing, Tyson (Jessica) Laing, Peter (Jess) Shea, Thomas Shea (Monica), Collin Mitchell and Karly Mitchell. Great-grandmother of Ellyce and Harlow Jones, and Ayla Laing. Helen is predeceased by her siblings Lloyd Hill (Madeline), Murray Hill (survived by Shirley), and Grant Hill (survived by Audrey). Sister-in-law of Harold (Gladys) Shea, Winnie (Louis) Fallis, Ed (the late June), the late Jim (Elizabeth Shea), the late Doreen Whitfield (the late Clark), Marie Sarginson, Sharon Shea, the late Evaline Henry (the late Alf), the late Hazel Lamb (the late Doug), and the late Gladys Shea. Visitation will be held at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Saturday, January 14th 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 15th 11:30 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 12:30 p.m. Interment at Riverside Cemetery.
