DOYLE, John “David” (Retired from Food Basics/A&P) - March 20, 1943–July 3, 2016 – Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, while in his daughter’s arms, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, July 3, 2016 in his 74TH year. Loving husband of Marilyn (Reynolds) for 52 years. Loving father of Gary (Kellie) of Sudbury, Richard (Lisa) of Bridgenorth, Barbara of Lindsay, and Bryan of Sudbury. Dear grandpa of 13 grandchildren- Brennan, Kaite, Elizabeth (Rocco), Christopher, Laura Jean, Mikell (Cassie), Grace, Drew, Laura Ann, Ben, Jayden, Rayah, and Brooke. Great grandpa to Gino, Angelina, Ivy, Lily, and David. Dave is predeceased by his parents John and Florence Doyle, and his sisters Helen and Ruby all of St. Johns, Newfoundland, and Doreen of Toronto. He was the dear brother of Alice of Newfoundland, Bet of Alberta, and Sue of Sudbury. At Dave’s wishes there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Masonic Temple Hall, 10 Ridout Street, Lindsay (Entrance off of Kent Street East) Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flower donations, can be made in Dave’s memory to the Humane Society Kawartha Lakes, or a Charity of Your Choice.
