Obituary for Mercedes Evelyn Everson (Moynes)

Mercedes-Evelyn Everson - Passed peacefully into her Lord's presence on January 12, 2015 at the age of 85. Faithful wife of Gratton Everson. Loving mother of Doug Everson (Caroline) of Port Hope, and Sandra Bond (Ken) of Barrie. Sister of Fred Moynes of Moonstone, and predeceased by Eva Stone, Walter Moynes, Mervin Moynes, Elwood Moynes, and Jean Everson. Godly grandmother to Sara, Darren, Tyler Everson, and Isaac, Aaron, and Leah Bond. The family appreciates all the care and love shown to Mercedes from the staff at Elim Homes in Waubaushene. Mercedes lived a consistent Christian life since she trusted her Saviour on August 25, 1948. Visitation will be at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Friday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be in the Chapel on Saturday, January 17th at 2:30 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Elim Homes, Waubaushene would be appreciated by the family.
