OXFORD, Budd ~ Gone home to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, after a long battle with Huntington Chorea, at Caressant Care on Mary Street, in Lindsay on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 in his 73rd year. Budd was the beloved husband and best friend of Beverly (nee Wyman) for 50 years. Loving father of Derrick Gregory and his wife Cheryl, and Jeffrey Scott and his wife Charlotte. Cherished grandfather of Sabrina, and Evan. Survived by his sister Millicent Duff, and his brother Henry (Junior) Oxford. Predeceased by his 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and his extended family. Visitation at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Monday, January 25th from 11:30 a.m. until the time of funeral service in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay. Memorial donations to the Huntington Society of Canada, the Carleton Baptist Church Building Fund, Orleans (Ottawa), or the Liberty Baptist Church, Lindsay would be appreciated by the family.
