IRELAND, Audrey Eileen (nee Stata) ~ Entered into rest peacefully at Centenary Hospital, Scarborough on Thursday, June 4, 2009, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late James Herbert Ireland (1986). Daughter of the late Melville and Margaret Stata (nee Smith). Survived by her son Donald Ireland (Dianne), and her daughters Fay Aldous (Bob) and Donna Barry (Kevin) and special daughter Sandra Johnston. Predeceased by her son Kevin James (in his 4th year). Loved by her grandchildren Robert (Amy), Dennis (Corinne) Aldous, Kelly Reynolds (Perry), Andy Ireland (Crystal), Christie Ferris (Derek), Kenzie and Cassie Barry. Cherished great grandmother of Lindsay and Ryan Aldous, Calab Reynolds, Liam Ferris and Wyatt Reynolds. Dear sister of Betty Bowry (Al) and sister-in-law Evelyn Stata (Wes). Predeceased by her sisters Floss Ruttle, Pearl Bacon, Mary Bacon and brothers Ken, Wes, and Holly Stata. Visitation at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Sunday from 2-4 p.m and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Monday, June 8th at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay. Reception to follow at Curling Club. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ontario Lung Association would be appreciated.
