David Bruce Turner - July 13th, 1957 – July 7th, 2017 ~ Turner, David, Bruce, entered into rest at his home in Lindsay with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday July 7th, 2017. David, who was born in Ottawa, was in his 60th year. He was the beloved husband and best friend to Fern (Vaillancourt). He was the much loved father of Adam (Megan), Justin (Jamie) and Ashley (Patrick). Dear brother to Kingsley (Cory) of Merrickville (Ottawa) and fondly remembered by his step mother, Margaret. David is predeceased by his parents, Ron & Lois (nee Hewens). He will be remembered as a loving, hardworking, family man. He had a love for fishing, hockey (Go Sens!) and football. Cremation has already taken place. A “Celebration of Life” for David will be held at 12 Woods Ave, Cowan’s Bay, Omemee on July 22nd, 2017 from 11-1pm. Friends and family are all welcome. Donations to the Canadian Hearing Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
