STUBBINGS, Betty Ann (nee Stuart) – Peacefully passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Victoria Manor, Lindsay with her family at her side. Betty at the age of 83, was the loving mother of Cheryl Nugent (Wally), and Ken Stubbings (Lynn), she is predeceased by her daughter Linda Beer (April 1, 2017) (survived by Peter). Beloved wife of Bernard Craig and the late Vernon Stubbings (1924-1997). Remembered by Vern’s son Paul Lywood (Carrie). Special grandmother to Chris Nugent (Chantel), Leata Nugent (Will), Jeffery Beer (Charlotte) and Andrea Lalonde (Randy), and great grandmother to Emily and Spencer Nugent, Kayla Cook, Joshua Lalonde, Abbott and Myles Nugent-Horton, Levi and Evan Beer, and Britton and Aspyn Nugent. Betty was the beloved sister of Henry Stuart (June), Ken Stuart (Madeleine), and Diane Williams (John, predeceased), she was predeceased by siblings Marg Thomas (Stan), Mary Stata (Albert), Joe Stuart (Verona), Mac Stuart (May), Pat Kimble (Burnis), Vivian Coulter (Murray), Don Stuart; KIA, and Billy Stuart. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, Don and Teresa Jordan, and Anne and Denis Samson and families. Special thanks to the Staff at Victoria Manor for their kindness, compassion, and exceptional care. Visitation will be at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay (705-328-2721) on Monday, May 29, 2017 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be in the Chapel on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. The interment will follow the reception at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay.
