Macdonald, Alvin Howard – Passed away at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Monday, April 17th at the age of 86 leaving behind his beloved best friend and wife, Winifred Macdonald. Loving father of Bob Macdonald (Pam) and Diane Steeper (Bruce). Cherished step-father of Rick Medhurst (Cheryl), Tom Medhurst (Cathy) and Deb Killburn (Geoff). Dear grandfather of Jason, Robert, Rosemary, Sean, Ryan, Jacquie, David and Kim. Great-grandfather of Jesslyn, Ethan and Sarah. Beloved brother of Dorothy Kobac.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay, on April 29th from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. Family speeches will take place at 2:30 p.m. and all are welcome to attend. Private family interment will follow at the Fenelon Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if desired, a memorial donation to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
