BOBR; Irene Leonora (née Gemmell) – Entered into rest on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the age of 96. Irene was the beloved wife of the late Ted Bobr (2007). Loving mother of Christine Hewitt of Lindsay and George Bobr of British Columbia. Cherished grandmother of Louise (Ian Andrews), Matthew of Kitchener and Lisa of Japan. Great-grandmother of Lillian Hewitt. Dear sister of Donald of England, Jean of British Columbia, and Mary of California. Predeceased by sisters Nancy of Australia and Florence of Scotland. A memorial service will take place at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 2:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
