Condolences

Condolence From: Phyllis Ryan Fisher
Condolence: Dear Pinky, Peter & Family,
I am so sorry to learn of the loss of your Dad. Growing up and later working in Aunt Mazie's restaurant allowed me a wonderful opportunity to observe true collegial and trustworthy business relationship as well as our caring for your neighbour. Your Father was always so kind and charming to people no matter the age. For example my shopping career began for my Aunt at the Snheilds' Grocery store @ 7 years and magic words, "Please charge it to Aunt Mazie." Your Father & family especially, left a legacy to so many of us true community.
I honour your Father's service for our country.
In my thoughts & prayers,
Phyllis Ryan Fisher

left a legacy what true business relationships look like.

Condolence From: Annie and Scott Robertson
Condolence: From our family to yours, please accept sincerest condolences of Bill's passing. Bill was a friend to Walter and Annie for many decades. Like Bill, Walter also went off to war and the two worked on many community projects through the Lion's Club, Mason's and through their businesses in Coboconk. Annie and Bill have maintained their friendship after Walter's passing. Bill's good humour and community spirit will be sorely missed by all. Take heart in all the good that Bill did and in the happy memories you have of him.

Best regards,
The Robertson Family

Condolence: It was with great sadness that I learned of Bill's passing last week. I met him about 35 years ago and was touched by his kind heart and generosity. Always had great respect for this man. My children and I were lucky enough to spend quite a bit of time with him in Fenelon Falls and in Coboconk. I especially enjoyed time spent with his kids and grandkids. My heart goes out to all of you at this time of grief.

Condolence: My deepest condolences on Bill's passing. I got to know Bill through the tennis scene, having played in and watched matches on his court at the Coby house (incl the annual Labour Day weekend tournaments), then hanging out with Bill before and after the games. Great guy - always very welcoming and gracious, memorable humour and laughter. He will be missed.

Condolence: It was with great sadness that I received a call from Peter today advising me of “Uncle Bill’s” passing. I am part of the Western Canada Shields family and the son of Bill’s brother Charlie.Throughout the years I’ve had the real pleasure of visiting Uncle Bill and all his family whenever I was back East. Peter and I have always been great friends and he graciously arranged a family get together when I last visited two summers ago. I had some great conversations with Bill about flying (we’re both pilots) as well as many fond memories of times we enjoyed over the years. I will miss this Man and OH what a Man he was !
