The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of David Raymond LaPorte can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Cheryl Rhodes
Condolence: Dear Mike, Shawn, Crystal, Marilyn & families: My sincere condolences on the loss of a very special man. Although I was unable to attend the services, all of you were in my thoughts during such a sad time. I have many fond memories of times spent in Haliburton where my family was always welcomed. We always loved to spend time up there with all of the LaPorte gang. Dave was always great with me when I was pretty much another family member hanging out with Crystal most days. His big heart, smile & laughter will be missed dearly by all who had the honour to call him a friend. RIP Dave xo

Condolence: Dear Mike, Shawn and Crystal,
What wonderful neighbours your parents were to us. We have wonderful, fun filled memories of the times we all spent together. The camping up at Halliburton- where Dave convinced Dawn to climb a tree. The fish derbies at Belwood - the great times shopping.
I regret that we cannot be there in person, as we are in Florida.

Hugs,
Murray and Muriel Burnett
