MORTON, Sylvia Loreen, ( a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary) entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the age of 96. Sylvia was the daughter of the late Henry and Catherine Batt. Beloved wife of the late Rees Hughes. Loving mother of Reginald Hughes, Douglas (Diane) Hughes, Kendra (Gordon) Stevenson, Harry (Vera) Hughes, Susan (David Yaw) Hughes, Clifford Hughes, Jennifer Hughes and Jeffery Hughes. Cherished grandmother of numerous grand and great grandchildren, also many extended family. A service to celebrate Sylvia's "Life" will be held at a later date.
