LEE, Eileen Olive - Entered into rest peacefully on November 16, 2016 in her 95th year. Eileen is predeceased by her parents, Charles and Eva Lee, her sister, Geraldine Smith, brother-in-law A.C. Smith, and nephew, Lee Smith. Eileen will be missed by her great nephew Donald Smith (Gemma), her great niece Stacie (Greg) O’Neill and great-great nephew, Jack. A native of Lindsay, Eileen spent her childhood helping her parents with their dairy business, C.H. Lee Dairy, and then attended teacher’s college. Eileen began her career in a one-room school house, went on to Alexandra Public School and finished her career in 1979 at Parkview Public School where she was Vice-Principal. She always enjoyed meeting her former students when she was out in the community. Eileen was a square dancer for many years and enjoyed attending community events, Retired Teachers functions and spending time with her extended family. Eileen was a loyal friend and dedicated caregiver and will be missed by those that knew her. A private memorial service was held at Riverside Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay. If desired, a memorial donation to Cambridge Street United Church would be appreciated by the family.
