Obituary for John Howard DeRusha

John Howard DeRusha – Entered into rest peacefully with his family by his side, on Tuesday, October 11th, 2016 in his 85th year. John was the beloved husband of Barbara DeRusha in their 58 years of marriage. Son of the late Laurine DeRusha (Norton) He was the loving father of David DeRusha (Donna) and the cherished grandfather of Danielle and her husband Christopher Parker and Jeffrey and his wife Ashley DeRusha. Proud Poppa of Olivia Parker. John is survived by his step-sister Beverley DeRusha (Peter Kirk). A Memorial Visitation will be at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Thursday, October 13th from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North, Lindsay on Friday, October 14th at 1:00 p.m. If desired, a memorial donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Parkinson Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
