Obituary for Dr. Norma Gill

Dr. Norma Mary Dean Gill~ (Graduate of University of Western Ontario Medicine 1949) ~ entered into rest in Toronto on Friday, September 9, 2016 in her 92nd year. Daughter of the late Thomas Norman Dean and Edith Blanche Culp. Norma was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Peter Gill (1999). Survived by her children Bruce and Janice Gill, Barbara and Jim Abercrombie, Richard and Jan Gill, Megan Gill-Vander Wielen and Adrian Vander Wielen and Mari Gill-Eyers, and Dan Eyers predeceased. Proud grandmother of Andrew Abercrombie, Jennifer Peacock (Scott), Dan Abercrombie, Jilian Abercrombie (Pete Green), Karri Anderson (Kevin), Eric Gill, Jocelyn Eyers, Kimberley Eyers (Kyle Robinson), Tina Vander Wielen, Hannah Vander Wielen, Valerie Eyers (Josh Quesnelle), Mallory Gill (Aaron Adams), Skylar and Jocelyn Gill, Ben Vander Wielen, Dean Eyers (Ashley Solmes), Darian Vander Wielen (Kyle Brydges) also her 6 great grandchildren, Jesse, Payten, Jake, Charlie, Luke and Weston. Predeceased by her brother Bruce Dean. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 45 Russell Street Lindsay, to celebrate Dr. Gill’s life, on Wednesday September 14, 2016. Visitation from 12:00 until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Interment of cremated remains to take place, at Riverside Cemetery at a later time.
