Portsmith, Clara Edith (née James) – entered into rest at Specialty Care Case Manor, Bobcaygeon on Sunday, August 28, 2016 in her 84th year. Clara was the beloved wife to the late Allen (2012). Loving mother of Ronald (Regina), Margaret, David (Kathy), James and predeceased by Shirley Russel (Allan). Cherished grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 9. Survived by her in-law’s Howard (Elva) Portsmith, and Ruby Caron. Clara will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Friday, September 2nd from 2:00 - 4:00p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00p.m. with the funeral service held in the chapel on Saturday, September 3rd at 4:00p.m. Inurnment will follow cremation at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family through the funeral home or online at www.mackey.ca
