Obituary for Ivan Louis Fisher

Ivan Louis Fisher ~ (after retiring from General Motors he enjoyed farming and being involved with the local Farmers Markets for over 20 years) entered into rest suddenly at St. Michaels Hospital Toronto on Tuesday May 18 at the age of 59. Ivan was the beloved husband of Barb Rohrer of Janetville for 38 years. Loving father of Kevin, Carrie and her husband Matt Mansell and Amanda. Proud Grandpa of Cody and Katie. Survived by his brothers and sisters Bob and Joan Mintz, Jane and Ken Bryant, Donna and Steve Broderick and Morley and Diane Fisher also his brothers in law, Ken and Susan Rohrer and Barry and Lisa Rohrer. Ivan will be remembered by his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Lynn Sibbitt. Family and friends are invited to call at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street Lindsay on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday May 25 at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow. If desired memorial donations to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Kawartha Lakes or an organization of your choice would be appreciated and may be made at the funeral Home or online at www.mackeys.ca.
