Gordon Bruce Durward ~ Born March 21, 1947, entered into rest peacefully, at the farm on Monday, March 21, 2016. Gord was the loved husband of Jane Terrill. Dad, Daddy, Pops of Katie Anne and her husband Barry Baxter, Terry and his wife Holly, Bruce and his wife Kaitlin, and Anne Marie and her husband Josh Taylor. Much loved Poppa to Arthur, Carson and Willa; Sophie and Cassidy. Fondly remembered by his siblings John (Joan), Bob (Joanne), Ruby (Keith Tindal), Murray (Grace), Charlie (Maisie), Patricia (Wayne Bailey) and brother in law to John Skelton and Susie Durward. Predeceased by his parents James and Marion Durward and siblings Larry, Isabel Skelton, Lloyd and his wife Donna, Eileen and her husband Walter. Survived by his many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A service to celebrate Gord’s life will be held at former Queen Street United Church, 29 Lindsay Street North, on the corner of Lindsay and Wellington Street on Saturday, March 26, at 2:30 pm. Interment later at Friends Cemetery Cambray.
