WILHELMINA C. J. VANZEYL
(née VAN DER HORST)
Born in Holland on December 17, 1931. Married to Gerardus Q. J. on November 28, 1953 at St. Mary’s Church, Lindsay, ON. Died in peace surrounded by loved ones on September 13, 2015 at Adelaide Place, Lindsay. She will always be remembered dearly by her husband Gerry, their six children: Johanna “Janie” (Wayne Rolfe), Yvonne Dickhoff-van Zeijl (David +), Clemens van Zeyl (Laura), Jerry Jr. van Zeyl (Glenn), RoseMarie (William Murphy), and Louise (John Fidale); ten grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. Wilhelmina will be fondly remembered by many brothers and sisters, lifelong friends, and the friends made at Adelaide Place. Visitation will be held in the chapel of Adelaide Place, 84 Adelaide Street South, Lindsay on Wednesday, September 16th from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 18th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lindsay. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Lindsay. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary’s Church – Restoration Fund, or Ross Memorial Hospital – Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
