Obituary for Paul Arthur Joseph Irwin

IRWIN, Paul Arthur Joseph - Released from his struggle with dementia on Saturday, August 15, 2015. Paul Arthur Joseph Irwin, graduate of Bishop's University 1940. Beloved husband of Barbara Biggings for 65 years. Survived by son Peter (Grace) and his son Jeremy; and daughter Jane Jones (David) and their children Michael (Cassandra), Andrew and Katherine. Also by Brian Biggings (Phyllis), Patricia Irwin, Bill Price, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Emilie Irwin, his three sisters Isabel Irwin, Claire Mills and Margaret Irwin and sister-in-law Dian Price. Paul taught throughout Quebec from Gaspé to Noranda and the Lakeshore School Board, Beaconsfield. He retired in 1975. He was an avid stamp collector, gardener, reader, bridge player, and church organist wherever he lived. Cremation has taken place. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date. Barbara is especially grateful to the staff at Vaga House, Victoria Manor, whose care of Paul was superb.
