VEALS, Fledda ~ Went to be with her Lord Jesus in her 93rd year, at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Feb 14, after a short illness. Fledda served as a missionary nurse with the Sudan Interior Mission, in more remote areas of Kumasi, Ghana, West Africa and Ethiopia, East Central Africa for over 30 years, retiring in 1980 in Lindsay, Ontario. Loving aunt to Howard Berry( Heather), Scott Veals and extended family. She is predeceased by her four brothers and one sister. Interment was at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay. A celebration of Fledda's life will be held after the church service at Bethel Church, Lindsay (705 324 5729) where she was a long term member, on Sunday March 22 at 11:15 a.m. Online condolences may be made at www.mackeys.ca.
