VAUGHAN, George Albert Thomas ~ entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Monday, September 16, 2013 in his 85 year. Beloved husband of Emmie (Betty) French for 51years. Loved father of Diane Holder, C A Jennifer Grieve-Winiarski and her husband James, Sandra Hood (Chris Cournoyer), Dan Doman and his wife Cathy, and Malcolm Vaughan. Cherished grandfather of many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughters Doris Rooney, Barbara Reid, son-in-law Bob Holder, sister Emily Booth and brothers William and Eric Vaughan. Friends are invited to call at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Friday, September 20, at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow a Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay.
