O'NEILL, Janice Lynn - Entered into rest after a courageous fight against cancer, surrounded by the love of her family, at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Saturday, February 18, 2012. Janice (nee Gilpin) at the age of 59 was the cherished wife of Gary for 36 years. Devoted mother of Jason and his wife Sabrina, and Marissa. The end of her life was brightened by the joy of her granddaughter, Brynn. Loving daughter of the late Eleanor (nee McWhirter) and the late Ken and Margaret Gilpin (survived). Much loved sister of Steve Gilpin (Mary Jane Fenton), Karen Gilpin, and Valerie (John Tittel). Sadly missed by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many more close friends. Part of the Kawartha Credit Union family for the last 24 years. In keeping with Janice's wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 67, 12 York Street North, Lindsay on Saturday, February 25th from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. Stories and memories will be shared at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations to Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation or Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation: Cancer Care would be appreciated.
